Preserving Battery Life

Battery draining is a very common issue, especially when we use our phones for just about everything from being on social media, playing games to watching movies. There are several steps you can take to ensure your battery life is not draining at a rapid rate. Below we share few helpful tips to do this.

Checking Battery Usage

Recognizing which apps use the most battery life is one way to keep up battery health. To do this go to the Device Settings> Device Settings> Battery> Battery Usage. The apps that use the most battery life will appear at the top of the list. Simply choosing to disable these apps will allow prolonged battery life.

Power Saving Mode

Enabling Power Saver mode may slow down the performance of an app, however it will also help save battery life while using apps. On most Android devices this setting can be found by going to Device Settings> Device Care> Power Mode> Adaptive Power Saving and enable.

Battery Optimization Mode

Battery Optimization (known as Doze) limits the actions of apps while running in the background. To enable this feature go to Device Settings> Device Care> Battery> Power Mode> select Optimized.
